Welcome to Your Central Convention & Meeting Destination
With all roads leading here, the Yakima Convention & Event Center has always been the ideal Northwest location for meetings and conventions. But, we have news! We’ve been busy growing for you! With more space and amenities, we’re ready to host all your meetings and events with 19 rooms available in more than 60 different configurations.
Our new 18,000-square-foot expansion makes the Yakima Convention Center the fourth largest convention, conference and event center in Washington, increasing the total square footage by more than 26%, bringing it to just under 90,000 square feet. We can now host your group as it grows, host more groups at once, invite larger groups and accommodate different types of events with more breakout rooms.

Meeting Services
The Yakima Convention Center meeting rooms all come equiped with risers (if needed), podium or lectern, one complimentary microphone per room (hard wired, hand-held or laveliere), one set-up, movable walls and a speaker table and registration table.
Meeting Equipment and Technology
The expansion that opened in 2021 allowed us the opportunity to upgrade all of our technology. Rooms A-J all come equipped with ceiling mounted screens that are in the 16:10 format and 10,000 lumen Laser-LCD projectors gives you a picture perfect presentation. Distributed speakers for Program sound and Voice reinforcement. Integrated Control System with wall mounted touch panels.
New LED dimming lighting give us endless possibilities for ambient settings for all occasions.
Lodging Accommodations
Your event participants have access to 700 sleeping rooms within walking distance of the Yakima Convention Center. They can also choose from a wide variety of hotels for every preference and budget just minutes away by car. You and your participants always enjoy complementary parking.
Dining
Delicious dining makes for the best events! Sodexo Live (formerly known as Centerplate) delivers premium on-site catering for all your meeting needs. They feature fresh, local produce and goods and offer a large selection of wine from Yakima Valley wineries and beyond. Choose from house specialties from award-wining chef Michael Zuniga or work with their team to customize your menus. From chef-driven, hand-crafted dining to casual favorite, you'll also find an array of dining options within walking and short driving distances. Of course, don't forget to make time for more than 100 wineries in the birthplace of Washington wine and for the hop country craft beer trail.
