Resources are the products and services meeting & event planners book alongside a venue — catering, A/V & staging, entertainment, photography, transportation, decor, speakers, and more. This guide walks you through setting up your resource profile. It's the quickest of the three account types to complete.
1 Create Your Account
- Visit the Resources page and click the blue Add Your Resource button (or click Sign Up here).
- Fill out the registration form. Choose Resource as your account type.
- Click Sign Up at the bottom.
2 Log In
- Once approved, click the Login link at the bottom left of any page and sign in with the email and password you used during registration.
- From the dashboard sidebar, click Resources.
- Click Add Resource if you don't have one yet, or click on the green action button to edit if you already have a resource listed.
3 Details Tab
This is the only required tab for resources — all your business info lives here.
- Resource name & type — choose the category that best fits (catering, A/V, entertainment, transportation, etc.). This drives the resource filters meeting planners use.
- Address, city, region — where you're based / serve.
- Email & phone — the email receives inquiry requests; phone shows on the profile.
- Website — direct link to your own site.
- Logo — click Upload Logo. JPG or PNG ideally 250×200px. Crop & zoom with Croppie; click the saved image to re-adjust.
- Description — this is your sales pitch. What do you offer? Why pick you over a competitor? Mention any special offers, packages, or value-adds. The Summernote editor supports bold, lists, and links.
Click Next/Save at the bottom right when done.
4 Media Tab
Photos and video bring your service to life.
- Video Links — click the + button, choose YouTube/Vimeo/Other, paste the video ID (or full URL for "Other"), toggle On. Multiple videos OK; switch which is active.
- Photos — click Choose File. Ideal 800×560px, JPG or PNG, max 2MB, landscape. Use RGB (not CMYK). Drag to reorder.
- Hero banner — click the star on any photo to use it at the top of your profile. Multiple starred photos rotate as a slideshow. Pick landscape photos for best results.
- Files — upload PDFs (under 5MB) like menus, brochures, rate sheets, contracts.
- Banner Ad — if you're a paid banner advertiser, upload a 250×200 JPG/PNG with a website link.
- Click Finish when complete.
